A NOVEL APPROACH TO LITERACY

Talk backs with local authors

WHAT A WONDERFUL AFTERNOON!

Never did I expect such a large and supportive turnout for yesterday's author meet and greet - A Novel Approach to Literacy. Every seat was taken and folding chairs needed to be found so no one had to stand. The food and wine were delicious. Thank you Rose O’Neill Tangredi for your generosity and kindness. Conversation flowed as easily as the fermented grape. Friendships were born, books were sold and literacy won the day!

Thank you to the authors who brought such excitement to the event by talking about their books and answering questions from the audience. I could not be more happy or proud of each and every one of you and of the place the Institute played in bringing your books to the attention of our community.

Special thanks to our staff: Mike Carbone, Barry Kramer, Jennifer Kramer, and Carole Kramer. I could not have done this event without each of you.

Our authors: Marilyn and Joe Alcock, Donna Berger, Nancy Ferraro, Rose O’Neill Tangredi, Patty Perrin, Judie Wilcox and, of course, me.

REMEMBER TO READ EVERY DAY... BOOKS ARE YOUR PASSPORT TO THE WORLD.
